The best wines of 2019: Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list

The Château Léoville Barton – St.-Julien 2016 is the best wine of 2019 (with 97 points out of 100) according to Wine Spectator.

Second place for the Mayacamas – Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder 2015, with 96 points, while the bronze medal goes to the Italian San Giusto a Rentennano Chianti Classico 2016 (95 points).

In 2018 the gold medal went to Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido in 2015

Last year the first place went to Sassicaia 2015 Tenuta San Guido in 2015, with 97 points.

Since 1988, every year, Wine Spectator has published the list of the top 100 wines. A selection that takes place during the months before the official exit of the list. The editors of the magazine have to choose “the best wines” from thousands of bottles from all over the world.
