February 2022: discovering the wines of the month

The bottles selected for the February wine ranking are ready to satisfy the tastes of anyone who loves quality products, the result of tradition and professionalism.

Marche, Umbria and Piedmont are some of the regions from which these excellences come from. In this new ranking there is also a French product, able to fascinate even the most demanding palates.

From Montepulciano d’Abruzzo to Sagrantino, such important vineyards could only give rise to fine bottles, perfect to keep over time or to taste immediately.

Kurni Oasi degli Angeli 2019: an important red wine, which goes perfectly both with meat menus and with courses based on aged cheese. If vanilla is immediately perceived on the nose, another perfume that does not go unnoticed is that of banana. The taste and balance of this red are literally sublime, as are its harmonious but, at the same time, almost chewable tannins.

Dom Pérignon Lady Gaga Edition Vintage 2010: Dom Pérignon is one of the most famous Champagnes in the world and is characterized by a completely original, persistent and delicate perlage. In particular, this special edition was created in collaboration with Lady Gaga. The floral notes are symbiotically combined with candied yellow fruit, on the palate it remains full-bodied and soft.

Bianco Le Corgne Fendi 2019: a remarkable Umbrian white wine, to be served between 8° and 10°, just to be able to appreciate all its characteristics, especially when accompanied by white meat dishes. The notes of flowers, as well as those of peach and lemon, make it very sweet and fresh. It boasts a fine and fairly long finish.

Sagrantino di Montefalco Collenottolo Bellafronte 2014: a 100% Sagrantino with a deep garnet red. Elegant, noble and well structured, this wine releases intense aromas, capable of enhancing any dish, especially if it’s a first or second course of game.

Barbaresco Secondine Prunotto 2017: a Piedmontese wine that stands out for its enveloping and structured character. There are hints of pepper, perfectly combined with sweet notes. For an absolute triumph the winning combination is with venison and porcini mushrooms.
