The wine cellar of the month: Produttori del Barbaresco

The winery selected this month by Enoteca Properzio is: Produttori del Barbaresco. Let’s get started with a trip among the vineyards of Piedmont, the land of some of the best wines in Italy.

Barbaresco Riserva Asili: a 100% ruby red Nebbiolo which immediately recalls notes of black cherry and rose on the nose. Elegance and refinement invade the palate with an intense but delicate taste. With its floral scents, it is perfect for a menu of meat.

Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano: a balanced and harmonious red, which stands out for its unmistakable taste of spices and red fruits. For its structure and aroma, this wine perfectly pairs with game meat and with first and second dishes of meat.

Barbaresco Riserva Muncagota: this is an exceptional and unforgettable red wine, which – not by chance – is considered to be a collection wine. This bottle deserves an accurate tasting precisely to enjoy on the one hand its black cherry notes, on the other those of rose.

Barbaresco Riserva Ovello: a bottle that has the spirit and history of Piedmont, a wine capable of dominating on the nose and on the palate with extraordinary delicacy. Choosing such an excellence can only enhance any kind of dish, making your menus irresistible.

Barbaresco Riserva Paje: this Barbaresco is characterised not only by a particular brick red colour, but most importantly by the notes of blackcurrant and caramel perfectly combined with scents of burnt sugar. Velvety and intense, it is a red with reminiscences of raspberry and smoke.
