Winery of the month: Paolo Bea

Paolo Bea is our winery of the month. A winery which represents Made in Italy excellence without any doubt, and which has succeeded in presenting its masterpieces to the world.

Lapideus Paolo Bea: an exceptional white wine – not by chance, a collection wine – characterised by unique scents of apricot and honey, but also by notes of spices and cedar. It presents itself as full-bodied and with an incredible minerality, and such details make it perfect for tastings of white meats, but also for an aperitif.

Santa Chiara Paolo Bea: a bottle whose exceptionality has been acknowledged both in Italy and abroad. An incredible production to conquer even those who claim to prefer red wine. Our only piece of advice: it is best served at a temperature between 8 and 10°C, so that one can appreciate its salinity and the very light note of vinegar at the end.

Pipparello Montefalco Rosso Riserva Paolo Bea: ripe blackberry and cooked plum are among the first notes you feel when tasting this red wine with ruby shades. It is morbid on the palate, with an outstanding structure, and you can also enjoy notes of blackcurrant and dark chocolate. This triumph of taste is best enhanced if paired with stewed or red meat.

Sagrantino di Montefalco Cerrete Paolo Bea: a 100% Sagrantino which stands out in your mouth with a taste of figs, blackberry and vanilla. It results full-bodied and pervasive. The perfect pairing is with game meat.

Arboreus Paolo Bea: this 100% Trebbiano was awarded both by Gambero Rosso and Duemila Vini for its elegant and enveloping scents. There’s a whole world behind its aromas and shades, which are always perfectly balanced. The result? A perfect bottle to enjoy together with white meats, especially rabbit and chicken.
