Here is the wine ranking for March 2022

From Marche to Umbria, passing through Tuscany: this month’s wine ranking presents four special bottles. It’s a discovery of taste and flavor with an important structure, such as the Kurni Oasi degli Angeli, perfect in combination with red meat and cheese, or the Sagrantino di Montefalco Cinquant’Anni Caprai, an excellent meditation wine.

Let’s find out more about this month’s proposals:

Kurni Oasi degli Angeli 2019: a 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, a natural wine that is impressive for its intensity and aroma. With its purplish red it can immediately unleash love at first sight with anyone who is lucky enough to taste it. Vanilla and banana are among the aromas that are immediately perceived. The tannins are defined but, at the same time, very delicate.

Sagrantino di Montefalco Cinquant’anni Caprai 2016: this 100% Sagrantino celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of the most popular Italian wineries in the world: Arnaldo Caprai. This is a special edition with a pure gold label in a limited edition. A refined wine, with sweet tannins, which give a super special flavor.

Brunello di Montalcino San Polo 2017: we are in the presence of an award-winning collectible wine both in Italy and abroad, from Gambero Rosso to James Suckling. The hints of red fruit immediately impose themselves and then give way to notes of tobacco. It is very elegant, with a long finish.

Chianti Classico Isole e Olena 2019: the best way to taste this wine? Definitely with red meat dishes. From the scent to the flavor, there is not a detail of this creation that fails to amaze sip after sip.
