Enoteca Properzio: Not just wine, but true Italian style.

Enoteca Properzio has two charming locations in Spello, Perugia, both protected by the Fine Arts:
One is located in the famous Palazzo dei Canonici, the other in a space dating back to the Middle Ages with splendid Miocene architecture. Exclusive spaces, reserved for the comfort of customers, where you can fully relax amidst the aromas and scents of the finest Italian and international labels, enjoying a fine glass of wine or sampling the delicacies of the day. Tastings, aperitifs, dinners, food and wine tours, and vacation stays are just some of the services offered by Properzio.

Properzio 1

Enoteca Properzio 1 is located in a uniquely charming medieval building, where history and hospitality blend in a warm and refined atmosphere. Among the most renowned in Italy, it houses over 2,200 national and international wine labels. Renovated in 1994 and listed by the Fine Arts Council, it retains original architectural features such as arches, barrel vaults, and ancient presses, evidence of its original winemaking vocation. An exclusive venue, almost a wine museum, where you can taste excellent wines and enjoy an authentic experience.

Properzio 2

Enoteca Properzio 2 is located in a building dating back to 1550, part of the Palazzo dei Canonici next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. Legend has it that Pinturicchio lived and worked here. Built to offer a larger and more evocative space than its original location, Enoteca Properzio 2—also protected by the Fine Arts Council—welcomes guests in elegant surroundings: terraces with umbrellas, dining rooms, rooms for private tastings, and a spacious internal courtyard. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a tasting menu or à la carte, as well as for exquisite aperitifs at any time of day.

Enoteca Properzio is located in the charming town of Spello, about 10 km from Assisi on the road from Foligno to Perugia.

The Porta Consolare, the Porta Venere flanked by the dodecagonal Towers of Propertius, the Porta Urbica, and the Arch of Augustus. Spello's most admired artistic jewel is undoubtedly the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, famous for the Baglioni Chapel, frescoed between 1501 and 1503 by Bernardino di Betto, known as Pinturicchio, with two masterpieces: "The Nativity" and "The Dispute in the Temple."
