The menu doesn’t exist before you do
There is no printed programme and no recipe repeated for the hundredth time. Our chef builds a new menu for every class — starter, pasta, main and dessert — starting from what the region offers that week and from ingredients chosen one by one, with the same care we put into selecting the bottles in our cellar. These are dishes meant to taste right here, and to be cooked again at home: clean technique, few steps, nothing held back.
You cook, properly
You work alongside the chef and you actually work: you knead, you cut, you taste, you get it wrong and you fix it. No experience required — only the wish to spend a few hours in a kitchen. The chef explains while cooking, in Italian or in English, and answers every question, including the ones you never dared ask at home.
Then you sit down
When the dishes are ready, you eat. And this is where the part closest to us begins: for every course we choose the right wine from our cellar, and at the table we add a guided tasting. Not a token pairing, but the real reasoning — why this wine with this dish, and what changes if you swap one of the two.
Six guests, never more
Our cooking classes are for small groups: six participants at most. It is the only way to genuinely work next to the chef, to ask questions without raising your voice, and to shape the day around the people in the room. That is why every booking starts with a short conversation: allergies, intolerances, preferences, anything worth celebrating. The menu always adapts.
How does it work?
Do I need to know how to cook?
No. This is not a course for professional cooks: the chef guides you through every step and adapts to the level of the participants.
What language is the class held in?
In Italian or English, directly with the chef. Just indicate your preference when booking.
What time does it start?
The lunch session starts between 10:30 and 11:00 am, while the dinner session starts between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. We start early because the experience begins with cooking and ends at the table.
How long does it last?
Approximately four hours.
I have an allergy, or I don't eat meat. Is that a problem?
Not at all. The menu is created after collecting the allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences of all participants. Please let us know when booking.
Are the wines included in the price?
Yes. Each course is paired with a wine selected from our cellar, and a guided tasting is included at the table.
How many people can participate?
Up to six people per session. The minimum number of participants is 1. For larger groups, we can arrange the cooking class as a private experience.
Can I join just for dinner without taking part in the cooking?
Yes. You will have a place at the same table. Please let us know when booking so that we can organize the cooking experience accordingly.
Can I take home the wines we tasted?
Yes. All the bottles featured in the tasting are available in our wine shop and through our online shop.
