The box, handmade in just 99 pieces by an Abruzzo craftsman, is lacquered in the typical blue shade of the Cuvée and lined in red velvet. There are three vintages inside, all now unobtainable: 2008, unanimously considered the best of the century for Champagne, 2006 and 2002. Inside there is also a precious photographic monograph that tells the story of the Maison and its wines, including the intriguing genesis that led to the birth of the legendary Sir Winston Churchill.
