The year 2004 is presented to the sight with a brilliant ruby red and clear. The nose opens with fruity aromas typical of Sangiovese, among which we find blackberry, blueberry and plum, and spices in the background like that of tobacco, cocoa, leather, ginger, bay leaves and black pepper. In the mouth it reveals itself very thick, accompanied by an intense aromatic persistence and elegant tannins.
The 2005 is rather like a very dark red with intense aromas of blueberry and Indian spices. Full-bodied, tannin has a large enough chewable fruit intensity, with flavors of minerals and new oak. The finish is very long.
Both to be paired with first courses and red meat.
