Sassiccaia has origins in the Bolgari area and it's the most famous Italian wine in the world. Sassicaia is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. It ages for 24 months in France, plus one more month refining in the bottles.

Sassicaia was rated the most important red wine among all the Italian labels by 7 different types of focus and specialized magazines and guides: so this is just a piece for collection, produced only by Tenuta San Guido, so it's an exclusive DOC wine.
We analyze this wine starting by the colour: we can notice a very brilliant ruby red. The bouquet is very intense with sitrus, black berries and spices. This wine is very well bodied as far as the aromas go we can taste: spices, cherry, vanilla and it has an endless finish. A good wine that will get It's speak in 4-5 years by now. This is a great wine to pair with red meat.
