Prunotto is a company comes from the North Italy: in the 1956 the Prunotto family decided to sell the company to the Scola’s brothers, but the biggest step was when, in 1989 the Antinori family, one of the most important families from Italy, decided to buy this company and to produce this wine under their property.
Barolo Brussia 1995 by Prunotto
The wine that we’ll taste for you is the Barolo Brussia 1995 by Prunotto.
The first step is to see the color on the palm of your hand: this is a red garnet color.
The second step is putting it under your nose: the first impact is a very strong red fruit, like the cherry’s jam together with wild berries.
The 3rd and last step is tasting the wine with a small sip: we can taste once again the red fruit, wild berries mostly and the tannin is very elegant and soft, because it’s a wine from 1995, so it’s a ready-to-drink wine, with a soft acidity.
